Artemio's Bakery: Fresh Mexican Bread and Delights Await in Chicago

Great little bakery in Wrigley! The bolillos con queso y jalapeño are awesome. Pillowy bread pockets filled with cheese and jalapeños and they’re only $2.50/each. The perfect way to start the morning. The servers are really nice too.

Always a fresh and DELICIOUS pastries and bread… This Mexican bakery had the best conchas y bolillos plus many different other varieties… Recommend 100% to take a dozen conchas or combined sweet pastries than a dozen donuts to your workplace or home…

Artemio's is the perfect, budget-friendly bakery for all your needs. It's a wonderful neighborhood bakery to stop by if you ever need a snack. They have everything from beautifully made pan dulce to cookies, cupcakes, and hand pies. Their tres leches is to die for and their flan is always fantastic.

Love their fresh bread and Mexican style (cafe de olla) coffee. The owners and staff are always so kind and hardworking. Support them, their worth it!!;

Artemios Bakery is a hidden gem in Wrigleyville. It’s unassuming from the outside, but everything I’ve tried has been consistently delicious. They have an impressive variety of sweet and savory pan dulces, and you can tell everything is fresh — they’re baking throughout the day. The conchas are a standout: pillowy soft, huge, and absolutely perfect. The danishes are massive and packed with flavor, easily some of the best I’ve had. My personal favorites, though, are the sweet cakes — simple, comforting, and just so good every time. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes you get. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or stocking up for the weekend, Artemios never disappoints. Highly recommend.

This place is one of the few places that sells pastries for such a reasonable price for how big the pastries are!! All almost less than 5 dollars and they’re so nice. Love them

Really an honestly great bakery to bring family and friends. the cookies and cakes are fantastic, and the people who work there are very hard working and lovely people who deserve more love. No shade, but kinda shade, I hope they put the bakehouse across the street out of business. We need more local and lovely places like this instead of big chains that move into our city or a place like new york or LA or my hometown Detroit and put great people out of business. Thankfully, At least from what I can see in the reviews here, it seems like for now, they’re doing better than the other one!! OH BTW did i mention the affordability? iirc I only paid 2.50$ for a piece of roll cake, and a cookie, totaling just 5$!! Anyways, I’ve talked enough. Please, please please, give this place some love!
